Attached Dalton Atomic Theory picture and briefly discuss including the relationship of it to the basic law of matter.

Everyone knows John Dalton. He made numerous contributions in field of chemistry. Dalton was born on September 6, 1766 in Eaglesfield, United Kingdom and later become a meteorologist and chemist at the same time. However, his greatest contribution that makes him prominent would be the Dalton's Atomic Theory.

Dalton introduced this theory to chemistry which explained that matter is made up of small particles. In this theory, it can clarify why water absorb various gases in various areas. For example, water keep hold of carbon dioxide better than it consumed nitrogen. Dalton estimated this because of the distinctions in the mass, and complexity of the gases separate particles.

According to Dalton and based on his theory, everything is made up of atoms, which are the indivisible building blocks of matter and cannot be teared down. He stated that all atoms of an element are identical and the atoms of different elements vary in size and mass or weight. Dalton also claimed that compounds are produced through different whole-number combinations of atoms, and a chemical reaction result in the rearrangement of atoms in the reactant and product compounds. Considering he attained his conclusions by inquiry of the outcomes in an empirical fashion, this marked as the first precisely scientific theory of the atom.

In relation to basic law of matter, he based his theory on two laws of basic law of matter which are the law of conservation of mass and the law of constant composition. Basic law of matter consists of three laws. Apparently, two laws were only used in this theory; the law of conservation of mass which says that matter is not created or teared down in a closed system and the law of constant composition which states that a pure compound will always have the same proportion of the same elements.
