Create a photo collage of your group experiments. Then provide a caption and reflection for each picture.

Filtration is a process used to separate solids from liquids or gases using a filter medium that allows the fluid to pass through but not the solid. The term "filtration" applies whether the filter is mechanical, biological, or physical. The fluid that passes through the filter is called the filtrate. If the filtration is an important separation technique in laboratory, it is also common in our daily lives. For example, brewing coffee involves passing hot water through the ground coffee and a filter.

Application of filtration in everyday life.

Reflection:

Filtration has many uses in our daily lives, especially right now where we experience quarantine because of a pandemic. The masks we wear everyday filters the air we breathe out so that if we have the COVID 19, we won't spread it to other people. The filters from air conditioners filter dusts so that the cold air that comes out of it is clean. The straining of noodles or pastas is also a simple way of filtering. Rocks and soils can also filter water so that it is free from impurities. Without filtration, we would not be able to do these things and we would even have a hard time making an alternative for filtering.
